Job Description

    • Set to detail and a visual, simplistic style
    • Specialise in vegetarian dishes, fresh vegetables and fruits
    • Mentor, develops and manages staff to prepare new, original dishes daily according to availability of fresh produce from Garden
    • Stock management, pricing and purchasing
    • Optimization of kitchen processes
    • Maintain safety standards

Qualifications

Professional Cookery/Culinary Arts Qualification

Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a kitchen controlling position
  • Knowledge of flavor and flavor combinations
  • Visual presentation skills and an eye for detail
  • Up to date with worldwide food trends
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • English and Afrikaans proficient
  • Own transport
