A busy and upmarket Family Restaurant and Function Venue situated in Johannesburg North.

Job Description

Fully responsible for running the business on a day to day basis. Management of all staff including serving, kitchen and admin staff. All events planning and coordination is her responsibility from the initial meeting to discuss client’s requirements to sourcing of service providers, creating of menus, décor and entertainment as per the original client brief. Constant client interaction and updates. Acting as Coordinator on the day of the event to ensure everything goes smoothly. Functions include; Weddings, birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers, etc. Responsible for all administration, finance, budget forecasts, cash ups, reconciliations etc. Coordinating and management of stock control. Dealing with suppliers and service providers. Staff Management. Full client responsibility – all compliments, requirements and complaints.

Qualifications

Relevant Hospitality Qualifications are a strong advantage.

Great Coordination skills. Organized and Systematic working methods. Deadline driven and punctual. Great Guest Relations skills. Great Admin Skills. Strong Leadership and Management skills. Strong Backbone and ability to manage staff, patrons, costs, operations.
