Establish and maintain robust cost control frameworks across all project deployments.
Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets from pre-deployment through to completion.
Track actual costs against approved budgets and forecasts to identify variances early.
Implement corrective actions where cost overruns, scope creep, or inefficiencies are identified.
Enforce compliance with approved commercial approvals, cost baselines, and financial controls
Provide clear, accurate, and timely reporting on project cost performance and risk exposure
Work closely with Project Managers, Construction Engineers, and Construction Managers to ensure alignment between scope, cost, and execution
Identify financial, contractual, and cost-related risks across the project portfolio
Develop and refine standardised cost management processes, tools, and reporting structures
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related commercial or construction discipline
Professional registration or eligibility for registration with a recognized Quantity Surveying body
Skills
Minimum of 8–10 years’ experience in a senior Quantity Surveying or commercial project role
Demonstrated experience working closely with Project Managers and construction delivery teams
Experience in infrastructure, energy, or construction-intensive environments is strongly advantageous
Salary/Package
R480,000 – R720,000 per annum
