Job Description

You will be reporting to the Lead Engineer, and your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for the design, project management, contract administration within the civil department.
  • Performing pipelines, pumpstations, hydraulics design from inception to final design in accordance with design standards
  • Design software knowledge
  • Excellent understanding of engineering concepts and application of knowledge,
  • Good understanding of industry codes and standards
  • Checking and verifying designs
  • Liaising with clients where required.
  • Developing an understanding of industry codes and standards and client specifications and client expectations.
  • Developing an understanding of relevant legislation and regulations
Qualifications
  • BTech /National Diploma in Civil Engineering
  • ECSA registration Pr TechEng / PrTechni – advantageous
Skills
  • MS Office Applications, MS Project
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil Designer, Civil 3D
  • 8 to 10 years’ experience in the design and delivery of engineering projects in urban development, project management, contractual administration, and design
  • Experience in Water and Wastewater Treatment, Pumpstations, Sizing Pumps and Pipeline Designs
