Plan and sell transportation, accommodation, tours and other travel services for International Tour Operators. Determine destination, modes of transportation, travel dates, costs, and accommodation required.

Key responsibilities 

• Communicate with client to determine destination, mode of transportation, travel dates, financial considerations, and accommodations required.
• Compute cost of travel and accommodations, using calculator, computer, carrier tariff sheets, and hotel rate sheets, or quote package tour’s costs.
• Book transportation and hotel reservations , and any other services required by client, using computer terminal or telephone.
• Plan, describe, arrange, and sell itinerary tour packages and promotional travel incentives offered by various travel carriers.
• Prepare final travel documentation including travel itinerary and vouchers for all services.
• Provide customer with travel information, such as local customs, points of interest, or country regulations.
• Print or request transportation carrier tickets, using computer printer system or system link to travel carrier.
• Hand file to accounts department for processing, invoicing and paying supplier invoices.
• Send proof of payments to suppliers if required.
