Job Description

As a Junior Finishing Foreman, you will be assisting the Senior Foreman in overseeing finishing trades, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and quality completion.

Duties:

  • Regularly inspect ongoing finishing work with your senior to identify any defects or non-compliance with specifications, and communicate necessary corrections to workers. 
  • Track the progress of finishing activities against the project schedule, identifying potential delays and taking corrective actions. 
  • Maintain open communication with the senior foreman, project manager, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to address concerns and coordinate work activities. 
  • Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the finishing process, including addressing quality concerns, material shortages, or scheduling conflicts. 
  • Provide regular updates to the senior foreman on the progress of finishing work, including any potential challenges or concerns.
