Job Description

My client is seeking a Food Technologist with Technical Sales experience to assist in the achievement of sales, volume and GP budgets and to run his subordinates.

Plan fortnightly call schedules
Plan sales calls to ensure a value-added approach
Proactively look for new business and market opportunities
Generate ideas and implement special sales activities and innovative sessions
Participate in demos, promotions and marketing events and evaluate the success thereof
Sales analysis and reporting
Competitor analysis
Sales, market share, client categorization analysis report back and monitor
Growth of sales and market share
Optimizing sales & market share through client relationship management

Qualifications

Relevant Degree in Food Technology or equivalent
5 years with proven track record in Sales Management, New Business Development or B2B Sales, preferably in the FMCG, managing Key Accounts
Driver’s license and travel is required
