Job Description
  • Administration duties.
  • Help manage day to day operations to ensure the lodge runs smoothly.
  • Maintain high standard in guest satisfaction and service
  • Responsible for following standard operating procedures
  • Ensure all incoming guest’s requirements, rooms and particulars are in place.
  • Check-ins and check-outs
  • When duty manager: host breakfast, lunch, high tea (do prep and host) and dinner.
  • Coordination of service
  • Managing stock, breakages, stock taking
  • Manage staff in terms of and food service
  • Good discipline and fair treatment of staff, to be a role model
  • Housekeeping – Do room checks
  • Shop – assist in any way as directed including supervising of shop and stocktaking.
  • Processing bar sales, stock control and ordering
  • Relieves Assistant Lodge Manager cycle leave and perform all duties relevant to the position.
  • Assist with special setups for guests such as sun-downers and any requests
Qualifications

Hospitality qualification will be advantageous

Salary/Package
R12 000 – R15 000 depending on experience
