Job Description
This role requires a strong technical background and experience, with a minimum of 5 years track record in a similar role.
The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering managed services to our clients and, also implementing and supporting new technology projects.
This role will work closely with our Engineering lead, who is ultimately responsible for all aspects of the IT services infrastructure that supports customers and the business.
Although this role forms part of a team, the role requires a dynamic individual who has the experience and maturity to self-manage and to set their own work tasks based on the business requirements and priorities.
The successful candidate will ideally become a long-term member of the team and participate in the fortunes of the business in the long term.
This role is based in Cape Town but will require occasional travel to our offices and clients in Johannesburg.

Degree/National Diploma
Linux Certification
Cloud Certification (Azure/AWS)
Skills
Microsoft networking Active Directory (expert level)
Microsoft Windows Server/Workstation (expert level)
 Expert knowledge of Windows Server Infrastructure including Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, DHCP, ADFS
Firewall configuration and support (NAT, VPNs, DMZs, packet filtering etc.)
Strong IT Security knowledge (network, system and endpoint)
Expert knowledge of networking protocols including VLAN’s, NAT, TCP/IP, Routing
Knowledge and experience with Infrastructure monitoring Tools
Knowledge and experience with Data Protection and Backup Tools
Knowledge and experience with IT Operations Management frameworks
Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
