Job Description

As a Senior Site Engineer reporting to the Project Manager, you will be handling a variety of projects to include new builds (retail, schools etc) as well as refurbishments. You will be responsible for:

Site Management
Technical responsibilities
Health & Safety
Cost Control
Building contracts and Contract specifications (JBCC/NEC)

Qualifications

Tertiary Qual in Construction Management / Building / Civil

Skills

6-8 years of experience within the construction industry, with 3 years at a senior level.
Working knowledge of CCS planning and estimating programmes
Working knowledge of Construction Regulations, Building contracts and Contract specifications (JBCC/NEC)
Working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety
Ability to read and understand construction plans, drawings and specifications
Good understanding of construction materials and building practices
Good understanding of budgeting and cost control

Salary/Package

R480K – R660K Neg
