Our client specialises in railway automation, signalling and control systems.

Job Description

You will be responsible for planning, organizing, controlling and coordinate signalling system maintenance activities and fault finding while ensuring compliance with contract requirements, safety standards and quality control measures. In addition, you will also be responsible for resource management, progress tracking and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Technical qualification in Electrical, Electronics, or Railway Signalling (e.g., National Diploma, Trade Certificate, or equivalent).
Certification in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) or equivalent is advantageous

Skills

Minimum 5 years of experience in railway signalling maintenance.
Strong knowledge of railway signalling systems, troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
Experience with risk assessment and railway safety protocols.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals.
Experience with electromechanical and electronic signalling systems.
Good communication, organizational and leadership skills.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends and on-call as required.

Salary/Package

R30K – R36K Basic salary per month
