Inbound Tour Operator in JHB North

Job Description

Build close relationships with all agents and with the International Sales Team
Qualify enquiries and make recommendations according to the client’s requirements.
Prepare and design creative itineraries & proposals.
Prepare excel costings.
Applying operational processes: rate negotiations, negotiate terms and conditions, booking accommodation and services as required,
Pre-departure documentation and load bookings for group operations as required.
Assist with annual allocations and costings & as required, booking accommodation and services as required.
Ensuring proficiency in that all files are quoted and operated at an acceptable margin and profit level according to the company margin strategy.
Delivering unique and outstanding itineraries – special rooms, personal letters etc.),
Escort Inspection Trips and Incentive Programs as directed by Line Manager.
Assist with all other reasonable requests where required
Ability to work un-supervised and under pressure

Qualifications

Travel diploma an advantage

Skills

Minimum 10 years travel experience (essential).
Inbound Incentive Groups for a minimum of 5 years.
Creative itinerary design, quoting & sales.
Excellent relationship building skills.
Experience in hosting MICE and Incentive Travel Groups.
Team- work and be able work autonomous when required.
Good product knowledge of Southern Africa.
Good office/administration skills
Understanding of on the ground operations and excellent quality control.
Good English communication verbal and written.

Salary/Package

R30000 – R35000
