Install electrical systems, components, and equipment, including wiring, circuits, and fixtures
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in industrial machinery and systems
Respond to emergency breakdowns and resolve issues quickly to minimize downtime
Ensure all electrical installations and repairs comply with local, state, and national electrical codes and standards
Follow strict safety protocols to protect oneself and others from electrical hazards
Conduct safety inspections and implement measures to prevent electrical accidents
Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics
Plan and layout the installation of electrical systems based on these documents
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot automated systems, such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and other control systems
Program and configure VSD’s & Soft Starters to optimize industrial processes
Qualifications
Electrical Tade Test
Minimum N3 Electrical
Wiremans License will be an advantage
Skills
Minimum 5 years’ experience
Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and industrial equipment
Precision in following codes, standards, and technical drawings
Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces
Good verbal and written communication skills for effective teamwork and documentation
 In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
Salary/Package
R25,000 – R30,000 per month
