Job Description

A well-established Game Lodge is looking for a hands-on, reliable Construction Worker to join their dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting daily Construction work orders and assignments within the Construction Team.
  • Maintenance and Erection of enclosures with special focus on fencing and gates.
  • Complying with all company and OHS safety regulations and reporting any issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Responding to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion.
  • Following written and verbal instructions from the Construction Supervisor and collaborating with the maintenance team and other departments as needed.
  • Reading and following equipment operating manuals and other written instructions.
  • Using equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools.
Qualifications

Proven experience as a General Worker or similar role.

Skills
  • Strong written and verbal English skills.
  • In possession of a valid driver’s license.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Great affinity for animal welfare
Salary/Package
R13 337.30
Benefits
  • Pension Fund (Compulsory) – 15% company contribution and 5% employee contribution
  • Medical Aid (Optional) – 80% company contribution and 20% employee contribution. This only covers the cost for the employee. Any added dependants are at full cost to the employee
