Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to support their Executive Chef in delivering top-quality food experiences across restaurant service, banqueting, room service and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily food preparation and kitchen operations
  • Ensure recipe accuracy, food safety and quality control
  • Assist with menu planning, inventory and cost control
  • Train, lead and mentor kitchen staff
  • Uphold hygiene and safety standards
Qualifications

Culinary Diploma (minimum) with strong cooking skills

Skills
  • 3–5 years’ experience as Sous Chef in a 4 or 5-star hotel
  • Banqueting and à la carte experience (essential)
  • Strong organizational, leadership and communication skills
  • Food safety & hygiene knowledge
Salary/Package
R12 431
