Job Description
You will:
Prepare and manage cost estimates, tender documentation, and BOQs for building projects
Handle contract administration and progress claims
Conduct site measurements and verify contractor claims
Manage project budgets, cost control, and reporting
Prepare valuations, interim payment certificates, and final accounts
Identify and manage variations and project risks
Liaise with site teams, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors
Qualifications
National Diploma and higher
Skills
Professional Registration as a Quantity Surveyor (e.g. PQS with SACQSP)
3–5 years of post-qualification experience
Solid experience in buildings (commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments)
Proven track record in a consulting role
Strong cost management, BOQ preparation, and project reporting skills
Excellent communication and client liaison abilities
Salary/Package
