Main purpose of the role is to draught welding and mechanical designs of boiler and boiler related equipment, conduct technical investigations or reviews, provide engineering support to boiler and boiler related equipment maintenance activities

You will be responsible for the following:

• Plan and manage engineering projects (engineering function only) and provide feedback on progress
• Issue documents to client as per project plan
• Perform designs in accordance with project requirements and relevant codes and standards on boiler
  and boiler related equipment
• Develop method statements for manufacturing, construction and maintenance activities
• Perform plant failure investigation studies
• Perform plant maintenance review studies
• Update documents according to designs or studies
• Update drawings according to designs or studies
• Assist with training of engineers, piping technicians and other personnel
• Arrange and chair engineering meetings with client
• Oversee the compilation of the technical part of tender documents for major project
• Assist with the estimation of engineering scope of tender
• Site visits as and when required
• Develop and qualify welding procedures according to the relevant standard
• Maintain welding procedures according to company requirements
• Monitor technical success of engineering designs and recommendations
