Job Description

The Proposals Manager is responsible for compiling accurate, competitive and comprehensive proposals. In addition to the key role of compiling proposals, the Proposal Manager will assist the Marketing Manager and carry out the following:

Preparation of Tender Justification forms
Updating the order intake forecasting software on a weekly basis
Updating the Jhb order intake spreadsheet on a weekly basis
Attending all client proposal clarification meetings
Market research assignments
Confirming the details of received PO’s on ARIBA are as per the agreed proposals submitted
Preparing the marketing handover of successful bids to the Project Manager
Managing the company e-mail address, for sales enquiries

Qualifications

An engineering degree
Registration as a Candidate Engineer with ECSA is an advantage

Skills

At least 5 years’ experience in estimating and proposals within a project contracting environment
English – talk, read and write
French – the ability to understand would be advantageous

Salary/Package

R80k – R100k CTC per month
