Supervise operating staff and suppliers, and ensure all activities are completed.
Ensure equipment and site efficiencies are achieved.
Attending to planned and break down maintenance, and the installation of equipment.
Perform all work safely, ensure legal compliance, complete risk assessments, develop safe work
procedures prior to completion of work.
Attend to production and maintenance incidents and call outs.
Communication with the client.
Complete all inspections and reports, boiler house and equipment, boiler controls, optimizing boiler
efficiencies, planned maintenance, and legal compliance of boiler plants
Qualifications
Matric
Millwright, Electrical Trade certificate (preferably red seal) or Diploma in Electrical engineering with a
strong Mechanical background
Boiler operation and maintenance training certificates will be recognised
Skills
5 – 10 years’ experience in a similar position, and industry.
A strong ability to Supervise boiler house staff or production staff.
Experience with 5Y analysis, fault finding, planned maintenance, repairs of electrical and mechanical
equipment, (programming of PLC and drives, and equipment commissioning.
Competent in, reading of drawing, technical diagrams and the drawing of basic wiring diagram.
Computer literacy in MS Office and SharePoint
Experience of Boiler servicing and commissioning will be advantageous.
Experience in Project management.
