Job Description
Develop and implement execution plans to meet contractual requirements.
Develop and implement resource plans to meet project requirements.
Develop project procurement strategy and implement to ensure on time delivery of equipment and materials.
Manage contractual administrative requirements like notices, letters, claims, etc.
Manage budgets, compile cost reports, and monitor project costs.
Ensure progress claims are submitted in line with payment milestone schedules.
Handle variations, payments, and special evaluations.
Oversee complete project lifecycle through Engineering, Procurement and Construction.
Manage subcontractors, including contractual, schedule and overall performance.
Ensure project is executed to the highest level of quality standards by planning, mobilizing and managing adequate resources.
Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are met and all risks are identified, monitored and managed.
Qualifications
An Engineering or Project Management Degree/Diploma
Skills
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a management role within the Renewable Energy Sector (Solar PV)
Solid contractual and commercial background
Good knowledge of technical aspects of a PV facility
Computer literate (MS Office) with knowledge of MS Project and Prima Vera
Strong leadership and management abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Client-centric with excellent relationship-building skills
Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills
