A 5* Game Lodge located in the North West Province on a 75000 ha big 5 reserve. The Lodge comprises of 3 luxurious camps. In total the lodge accommodates 40 guests. The lodge has 104 staff. The lodge accommodates 30% SA Guests and 70% International Guests.
This position is available only later in the year towards October/November/December when international borders begin to open. The General Manager’s main responsibilities will lie in Leadership and Management, Guest Experience, Lodge Financial, Compliance and Controls, Staff Development and Management (HR), Communication and Systems, and Community Sustainability. 3 Lodge Managers will report to you in this role. You will report directly to the Group Area Operations Manager at Head Office. Previous experience within a similar role in a high end 5* Service Lodge/Island Resort/Game Lodge or remote boutique Country Hotel required.
Matric. Degree/Diploma in Hospitality/Finance/Tourism Management . Only South African Citizens will be considered.
5* Lodge/Island Resort GM experience required. Strong with financials. Strong overall knowledge of every department within a Lodge/remote boutique Hotel/Resort. Exceptional 5* Guest Experience knowledge and experience. Stable proven and solid track record. Own Transport. Valid Driver's License.
R30 000-R50 000 Max per month
Accommodation (3 bed house available for GM/Immediate Family), There is a pre-school on the reserve suitable for younger children up to Grade 2.) Meals on Duty, Medical Aid, Provident Fund & Bed Nights.
