Job Description

We are seeking a good Short Term Insurance Administrator with solid Claims and Underwriting administration experience with Motor, Non-Motor, Household Contents, Building, commercial, and personal lines claims.

  • Do short-term insurance quotations and comparisons for brokers
  • Process amendments on existing policies
  • Identify gaps in client’s insurance cover
  • Process short-term insurance claims
  • Keep track and follow up on arrear premiums
  • Plan and process monthly renewals
  • Answer and direct incoming calls from clients

Qualifications

Matric. RE5 Certificate. Full Insurance qualification as per FAIS requirements. Minimum 4 years short term insurance in policy administration and claims roles. Computer literacy.

Skills

Must have Motor/Non-Motor/Household Contents/Building/Commercial and personal lines Experience. Experience in customer liaison; building and maintaining relationships. Experience working in a Brokerage is preferred. Insurance knowledge to at least an intermediate level. Detail orientated. Sound administration experience. Strong attention to detail. Strong customer service. Good with processes.

Salary / Package

R12000-R15000 Gross per month
