Plan, organize, direct and co-ordinate strategies, intervention and programs aimed at managing the materials (commodities) value chain from inception of raw materials, chemicals, packaging and engineering spares through to delivery of finished goods. Manage the inbound and outbound logistics.

Develop and ensure implementation of the inventory management strategies aligned to commercial business objectives and goals.
Develop plans, procedures, schedules and interventions aimed at optimising all materials management resources, technologies, sub-contractors, capital and logistical systems.
Lead the development and implementation of best practice & quality programmes within materials management systems and procedures.
Manages the Starch Packing process as a business unit in line with GMP standards, ISO procedures, as well as customer’s expectations.
Manage contractors according to the Service Level Agreements to ensure productivity and value for money.
Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management or Industrial/Chemical engineering.
5 years within FMCG Supply Chain or Logistics environment at Management Level. 5 years MRP (SAP) Processes. Knowledge of : Supply Chain management systems Warehouse & Logistics processes Good knowledge of inbound, warehousing and outbound logistics. Customer Service Principles ISO Systems MS Office Software Applications Industrial Relations Technical Competencies : Inventory Planning & Optimisation Systems. Planning. Demand/Supply Analysis.
