Luxury safari lodge in Zambia.
Luxury safari camp seeks a mature and highly experienced couple with a successful track record of running luxury safari lodges to oversee all operations of 2 camps in Zambia. The overall remit is to assist in overseeing the rebuild and reopening of 1 lodge and to ensure that both lodges become the most luxurious and best performing properties in the region; whilst ensuring both are maintained and operated at the highest level, improving systems, reputation and performance of these properties on an ongoing basis.
Candidates must be professional in all aspects at all times; they must deliver outstanding, quality hospitality with consistency and must ensure guests’ comfort and safety are their top priority.
Candidates will be inspired to be the best with support from Management. The successful candidates will have internationally recognized qualifications (essential for work permits) with relevant experience and references showing a track record of excellence.
The candidates will be natural leaders, with common sense, be able to work in remote locations with minimal supervision; both should be practical, highly organised, solutions-oriented.
One should have a strong maintenance background with a reasonable understanding of and passion for vehicle mechanics/electrics and building/plumbing/electrical; and one of whom ideally but not necessarily will be a qualified chef although both must have a passion and talent for fine cuisine.
The couple must be motivated and can drive others to excel; be natural mentors who delight in training with a passion to drive and shape their team; be able to at all times cater at the highest level to all cultures, sensitivities and requirements; be driven by attaining balance – personal satisfaction – business reputation – company profits through development and implementation of systems and controls, records and reporting; delights in feedback; enjoys face to face and fast-paced environments; be committed to the detail regardless of workload and pressure, with the ability to multi task; high level of work ethic; excellent command of English and computer literacy; must have workplace confidence & professionalism; must be inclusive and of balanced temperament; calm and commanding under pressure; experience working in a remote environment highly advantageous.
Internationally recognized qualifications.
Experience in upmarket game lodge within similar roles.
