Employer Description

A well-established law practice located in Randburg. The firm has been in operation for 20 years. The firms main business is Income Tax Law but also works with Estates and Conveyancing.

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

    • Taking ownership of the transaction from beginning to the end which includes final accounts
    • Preparing and maintaining files accurately according to specifications
    • Attending to all financial aspects of transactions, including collection of costs/disbursements from clients and attending to general accounting queries
    • Drafting transfer and supporting documents for residential property transfers and commercial property transfers.
    • In-house process of securing deals.

 

Qualifications

Matric essential. Conveyancing qualification advantageous.

Skills

3 - 5 years conveyancing secretary experience essential with stable employment record. Experience with Conveyancing package e.g. Lexis convey (Ghost Convey). Able to work independently (but similarly be able to follow and carry out instructions). Attention to detail and quality-focused. Strong drafting skills. Ability to multi-task and have good organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.

Salary / Package

R13,000-R17,000 gross per month
