A 5* Game Lodge located in the Kruger National Park
The senior/sous Chef is responsible for planning and directing food preparation in the kitchen. This will involve a large degree of employee management. You will be required to act in the Head Chef’s Absence and to ensure that the kitchen runs in the same professional manner when the Head Chef is not on duty.
Grade 12. NQF level 4. Diploma in Professional Cookery from Reputable Culinary institution.
5 Years of Hospitality Experience, minimum 2 of which must be at Senior/Sous Chef Level within a 4/5* Lodge/Game Lodge/Hotel. Willingness to work in a remote area. Own Transport is a strong advantage.
