A beautiful upmarket Country Hotel and Restaurants located in the country in KZN.
In charge of two restaurants, one fine dining with a wine cellar and bar/lounge, mostly dinner, lunch at peak periods. (Very upmarket.) The other one is a Café that serves Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Extensive restaurant experience, a seasoned leader that is very firm, but fair. Mostly evening shifts with long hours at times. Very hands-on, this is not a desk job. Extensive wine knowledge is a requirement. A can do whatever it takes attitude. This role must take full ownership of the Restaurants and operate them profitably and sustainably. The role will report directly to the General Manager/Shareholder.
Formal Hospitality Qualifications are required.
Exceptional Leadership skills. Ability to take full responsibility for two busy restaurants of an elegant nature. Exceptional Staff Management abilities. Exceptional Wine Knowledge.
R25,000 - R30,000 (after Probation)
This position will end up getting a profit share after 12 months of employment. Single accommodation will be provided if needed, not able to convert this value to Rands should the accommodation not be desirable.
