Job Description

  • Installation and configuration of Client Servers
  • Installation and configuration of Client Firewalls
  • Installation and configuration of Client Infrastructure
  • Create, manage and maintain appropriate site documentation
  • Setting up and managing Project Plans
  • Daily Client backup monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Log, assign and resolve support cases on the service desk within the severities
  • Timeously attending to alarms created within the Managed Services Platform
  • Ensure that Client Servers have all Windows updates
  • Ensure that Client and Server Anti-Virus is up to date
  • Maintaining Eset Endpoint Antivirus Server
  • Perform client visits as required
  • Providing clients with accurate, detailed and presentable monthly reports
  • General knowledge of Networking infrastructure including VLANs
  • Answering the helpdesk phone
  • May be required to work after hours/during weekends from time to time as some maintenance on customer’s infrastructure can only be done during this


  •  IT qualification from a recognized institution
  • A+, N+
  • AZURE Foundation
  • Office 365 Certification
  • VMware (advantageous)
  • Firewall and Switch configuration (Highly advantageous)


  • Minimum 3 years Experience in Similar position
  • Office 365 experience
  • VPN and VLAN experience
  • 1st and 2nd Line Support experience

Salary / Package

R30 000 - R35 000 TCTC
