Job Description

Position based in Cape Town – regions covered will be Western & Eastern Cape and KZN.

Manage, monitor and control Regional Operations through intelligent planning in line with Company’s Service Level Agreement. To deliver efficient and cost-effective functionally and sustained profitability of the business operation and ensure the smooth and optimum running / use of company infrastructure.

Key Performance Area:

Driver Forecasting / Planning / Rostering.

Plan to have the correct amount of drivers in the network.

Plan to have the correct amount of drivers in the network.

Ensure all clients SLA’s are achieved.

Driver attendance as per agreement.

Multiple Trip management.

Standard Operating Procedures relating to Drivers.

Formulate and execute the local strategy in order to deliver best On Demand service.

Develop policies and standard procedure for working process effectively and efficiently.

Drive continuous improvement.

Monitor performance against agreed KPI’s and targets by take corrective actions as and when required.

Lead, implement and control on the trainings of all employees under your management.

Establish, maintains affective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect.

Build, keep engagement, motivation, management and leadership and problem-solving.

Maintain a dynamic and scalable customer service in which resources are managed effectively and efficiently.

Cultivate customer relationship and listen to the voice of customers.

Manage operation team in the achievement of planned divisional objectives and targets.

Clarify teams’ roles and responsibilities, set performance objectives, manage and conduct performance reviews in accordance with policies and procedures and take corrective action where necessary.

Conduct continuous performance discussions.

Be accountable to own, create, maintain and test a business continuity plan for critical customer processes.

Manage the company’s risk exposure through identification and maintenance of risk control measures to minimize liability.

Monitor and ensure adherence to statuary regulations, organizational standards, policies and procedures.

Adherence to operational Health and Safety statutory compliance.

Must be willing to travel.

Qualifications

Grade 12 / Matric. Tertiary Qualifications in Logistics / Business Management Business Administration or equivalent.  

Skills

Operational / Supervisory / Managerial experience. Understanding of digital delivery platforms and e-commerce fulfilment. Experience and knowledge in managing company operational systems. Strong planning and problem solving skills. Microsoft Office (Office, Excel, Word & PowerPoint).  

Salary / Package

R900 - R1 million annual ctc.
