Seeking an enthusiastic and driven Senior Lodge Anchor to relief current Lodge Managers and Retail Admin Manager. You will spend 2 weeks in one location and then 2 weeks in another.
Management Duties: Ensure that all lodge areas, Front of House as well as Back of House areas are always impeccably clean and tidy, Effectively coordinate all Guest events and daily lodge operations, Be readily available to deal with all guest queries and complaints, Responding to complaints to be dealt with in a pleasant, constructive manner always, using the feedback as a learning experience and platform for constructive discussion, Reduce accidents and ensure that all safety hazards are addressed, and potential problems communicated to the General Manger, Provide effective leadership through professional management and encouragement of all subordinates, including mediation, Ensure that staff training programs are maintained, Demonstrate and promote flexibility and adaptability towards changing working hours and shifts according to the requirements of a 24-hour operation, Respond to changes in your job function as dictated by the industry, company or the property.
Retail & Admin Duties: Ensure the correct and timeous completion of all weekly/monthly financial reports, Monitor and ensure that all payments received for advance deposits and guest payments are allocated and posted correctly, Ensure that all department invoices are batched correctly and sent to office for payments, Checking and signing off Petty Cash, Monitor, control and drive shop sales, pricing and stock control, Maintain full responsibility for the retail stock in the store including costs, stores, losses, discrepancies and expired stock items, Ensure that POS is operated efficiently.
Minimum 5 years experience in a 5 star environment in a similar role. Excellent Guest relation skills, Work well in a high pressured environment, Well acquainted with Microsoft office and POS systems.
