Our client is a leading mining technology and equipment company.

You will be the custodian of planned maintenance and be responsible for the repair, maintenance and optimization of plant and equipment.

Lead the problem-solving teams for chronic breakdowns and support planned maintenance, TPM philosophies and inspections.
Establish engineering standards and train plant operators on correct methods of operating equipment, coordinate improvement projects and engage with preferred suppliers.
Conduct planned maintenance of plant, equipment and facilities
Attend to unplanned maintenance of plant and equipment
Coordinate and oversee all work done by contractors
Coordinate and facilitate all CAPEX and optimization projects
Promote a safe work environment for all
Critical spare stock
Assist with administration duties
Assist with the review of the relevant documentation
Manage and initiate maintenance programs
Ensure the equipment and plant is maintained and serviced correctly and efficiently
Exercise control over inventory and manage spare parts procurement
Ensure the workshop, personnel and contractors are managed efficiently
Ensure the workshop is a clean and healthy environment at all times and all duties are carried out with strict regard to company HSSE policies and procedures
Assist with stock control and general housekeeping
