To achieve monthly sales targets as agreed with your Manager
To sell the complete range of Company products
To maximise revenue generation by selling preferred products
To contribute new and innovative ideas to continuously improve sales, best practice and internal procedures
Use personal travel experience and product training to provide excellent advice to customers
Take full responsibility for the administration and ongoing support of your bookings and keep customer informed of progress
Support colleagues’ customers to ensure they receive an excellent level of customer service in the absence of their Sales Consultant
Team Role
To work as an effective member of your branch team and across other departments
Provide support to the newer and existing members of the team to the benefit of the company by sharing your own experience and knowledge
To take part in training sessions and briefings, in order to gain a clear understanding of products and booking procedure
To assist with day-to-day administration duties as determined by your Manager
To understand and adhere to administration and security procedures as determined by your Manager
To take responsibility for having a full understanding of all campaigns and ensuring that these are actively promoted during sales calls
Provide feedback on the effectiveness of all marketing campaigns and local trends
Desk Operating hours:
Monday – Friday, 08h00 – 17h00. Saturdays 09h00 – 12h00 (Saturdays will alternate).
Matric qualification Travel or Tourism Certificate
Minimum 6 years travel consulting experience in a leisure travel environment Galileo GDS experience is preferred Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and other MS Office Applications - Outlook, Excel etc. Able to meet sales targets and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment Proven sales record. Extensive global product and geographical travel knowledge. Experience in a call centre style environment preferable.
