Job Description

This Commercial Accountant position for an International FMCG company is a challenging role with lots of scope & opportunity to show your abilities & make a difference.

You will be responsible for conducting financial analysis on the commercial elements of the company’s products and services, towards accurate costing of products and enhanced product margins.

This entails:

• Ensuring accurate product costing
• Playing a supporting role to sales function
• Analysing sales margins and costs
• Sales forecasting and budgeting

Your Responsibilities:

• Financial Analysis
• Financial Reporting
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Governance Risk & Compliance Management

Qualifications

• BComm Hons Accounting OR  BComm Hons Finance / Financial Management
• South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) or Chartered Financial analyst (CFA)

Skills

You will have at least 5 years FMCG industry experience of which 3 years should have been in a Commercial Accountant Role and have:

• Knowledge of relevant legislation
• Knowledge of Internal Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Knowledge of budgeting processes
