Job Description

Our client seeks a Good Chef for a small Corporate Catering Unit located in Bryanston. The person must be a versatile all-rounder in the kitchen and must cook well. Planning menus in consultation with clients. Ordering supplies, Supervising and motivating staff. Ensuring that health and safety regulations are achieved. Monitoring the quality of the product and service provided. Keeping to budgets and maintaining financial and administrative records. Will report to the Area Manager in the JHB region. Assist in preparing meals for 60 staff on site and functions.

Qualifications

Formal Cheffing/Professional Cookery Qualifications are an advantage.

Skills

Strong Cheffing Skills. Candidate should ideally have worked in the Corporate Catering or Catering Services sector previously. Ability to cook well. Good Menu planning. Good leadership and supervisory skills.

Salary / Package

R15 000 CTC per month.
