Job Description

An upmarket 170 Seater European styled upmarket yet casual dining restaurant located in Sandton seeks a competent stand-alone restaurant experienced Executive Chef. The Restaurant is open for Lunch and Dinner Service. It is in a busy location in Sandton with heavy walk-in trade. We are looking for a solid chef who can competently manage and run the kitchen operation, oversee menu planning, cost controls, opening and closing procedures, quality, hygiene and expediting quality meals on time per standard. Proven track record in similar environment essential.

Qualifications

Formal Professional Cookery qualification required.

Skills

Well-experienced within a similar role in a stand-alone restaurant of a similar size and nature. Good Leadership skills. Must enjoy cooking and the trade.

Salary / Package

R25,000-R35,000 per month Negotiable
