An upmarket Estate located in the outskirts of Durban. The Fine Dining Restaurant and Cellar is located on the estate. Operational for Lunch and Dinner Service Wednesday to Sunday.

Job Description

Our client seeks a top notch Fine Dining Pastry Chef. Will be hands on with the preparation and production of desserts, pastries and home made breads. Oversee mise en place and service in the evenings. Manage quality, portion control, plating and presentation. Assist with Menu planning for specials and tasting menus. Stock control. Hygiene maintenance. Previous experience as a Pastry Chef in a Fine dining Restaurant required. Stable track record required with contactable references (Landline contact details to be provided.) Qualifications

Formal Culinary/Patisserie Qualification from a reputable culinary institution/academy (Ideally that focuses on quality fine dining presentation).

Skills

Strong Fine Dining Experience required. Talented. Hands on. Creative. Must be passionate about fine dining service. Able to work during service (Restaurant is open for Lunch and Dinner)
