Job Description

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Calling on existing clients and cold calling on new/potential clients
  • Answering incoming queries on product offering, service existing accounts
  • Develop and execute an annual growth plan.
  • Maximizing opportunities by making regular customer visits to existing customers and potential new customers
  • Serves as main point of contact between customer and internal structures
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and performing other various duties as assigned.
  • Meeting a target of at least 15 Face to Face business meetings per month plus at least 25 telephonic meetings/discussions with clients
  • Grow existing client base and network, by sourcing new leads
  • Working out quotes and sending proposals to clients timeously
  • Follow up with clients to make sure they are happy with after sales service
  • Maintain a good understanding of the market: competitor offerings, general intelligence, identifying new opportunities
  • Meeting and exceeding monthly targets and the annual target

 

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree (Chemistry or Biochemistry or Food Technology or related qualification)

Skills

  • Proven sales track record, at least 3 years experience
  • Technical background
  • Computer literacy, able to capture or retrieve information on our operating system
  • Drivers license
  • Excellent communications skills, written and face to face
  • Ability to close sales successfully
  • Target driven and solution orientated
  • Independent worker that takes personal responsibility of their work portfolio

Salary / Package

R15 000 - R20 000 basic plus commission
