A Game Lodge and Global Animal Welfare organization located in the Freestate close to Bethlehem. This role will be based on site at the lodge on a daily basis. (Not a remote working role)
Key duties will include: Marketing and raise awareness to a niche clientele through the use of online channels, travel agents, tour operators, industry partners, Bloggers & Influences, past client base etc. along with radio and print media etc. Developing and Implementing a detailed marketing strategy for the next 3 years. Growing Brand awareness across all platforms for the Welfare organization. Focusing on niche animal welfare target audience for day tourism, overnight guests, academy students and other interest groups. Focusing on destination marketing and encourage length of stay. Promoting existing packages across multiple platforms: Websites, Social Media, Print Media, Radio, Travel Partner sites and developing new packages if required.
Relevant Qualifications in Marketing and Tourism ideal. Particularly in the hospitality arena.
5+ years experience in similar role would be ideal. Proven professional experience and education in Tourism and marketing. Strong Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Temporary accommodation on site for a 6 week period to find suitable accommodation in town. Thereafter it is the applicant responsibility to find own accommodation in the area if not already resident in the area.
