A well-established Family Law firm located near Rosebank in Johannesburg.

Job Description

Our client does not necessarily need someone who has lots of family law experience. Just a total willingness to get stuck in, and a sense that this is what you want to do in the long term. The department deals with divorce, child law, domestic violence, wills and estates and ante nuptial contracts. General Family Law Associate Attorney duties will apply.

 

Qualifications

LLB Degree. Admitted (Or soon to be Admitted) Attorney. Additional Qualifications are advantageous but not essential.

Skills

Own Transport is ideal, however the company don’t demand that staff come with a car and a license, but you must be on track to getting one, soon after you start – a license is probably a greater indicator of being on track with this so is preferred, though the company does not offer a pool car, so you would need to uber, until you are able to get a car. We are looking for the right personality to fit in with the team. A genuine interest in Family law and ideally some exposure and experience in Family law. Exceptional Communication skills. (Written and Verbal). Great engagement with Clients/Colleagues. Driven and self-motivated. Willing to apply self and work well within the team.

Salary / Package

R15,000 Gross per month (If not yet admitted) to R22,000 Gross per month if recently Admitted

Benefits

Not yet admitted post-candidates are paid R15 000.00 and their salary increases to R21 000.00 when they are admitted. Our client gives an allowance of R350 toward cellphones, but nothing toward petrol, which is reimbursed to the staff member if they travel for work purposes.
