A beautiful newly renovated 76 Roomed 5* Hotel located near Somerset West in the Western Cape.

Job Description

Our Client seeks a strong Banqueting Manager for their newly renovated property in the Helderberg area / Winelands of the Cape close to Somerset West. The Hotel has a staff complement of 81. The Property has a larger venue that can accommodate up to 100 pax and two smaller Venues that can accommodate 20 pax for High-End International Market Clientele Functions/Weddings/Conferences. You will report to the F&B Manager, and fully operate the Banqueting Department and operate it as a Business Centre to Drive Revenue.  Standard Banqueting Management duties will apply. Previous experience within an upmarket 4/5* property required. Able to manage Weddings, Conferences, Indoor and Outdoor venues.

Qualifications

Relevant Hospitality qualification will prove advantageous.

Good Leadership skills and able to successfully drive and manage a team to ensure high end service and products are delivered to all high end market international clientele during their functions. Strong Attention to Detail. Great Guest Relations ability. Willing and driven. Stable, Punctual and reliable. Good with Budgets and controls. Excellent communication skills.

Salary / Package

R20000-R25000 Negotiable
