Job Description

My client is looking for a logistics supervisor to oversee the income of raw materials and packaging materials essentially and to oversee despatch of finished product to the retail and foodservice trade.  Must be very willing to work flexi-hours as this is a company that runs 7 days a week and deliveries must be made – even if production is lagging.  Must be a good manager of staff and integrity and honesty must be high.  Ensure checks are in place for incoming and for despatch to reconcile stock.

Qualifications

Ideally a tertiary qualification in logistics or supply chain.

Skills

Must be able to handle a lot of motion - trucks coming in, breakdown co-ordination and so on.  Attention to detail is a must.
