Job Description

Our client is looking for a Service Technician to join their team.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

• Identify problems and sell solutions.
• Servicing and testing of sophisticated PLC and servo drive systems.
• The inspection, fault finding servicing & commissioning of PLC and Servo drive systems.
• Attending to breakdowns promptly
• Negotiation and proposing solutions to meet customers’ requirements.
• Provide technical support to sales staff and clients.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of our DC product range.
• Customer relations and communication & follow ups.
• Electronic and motor repairs.
• Program and commission machines.

Qualifications

• Recognised Trade Certificate

Skills

• Servo drives setup and commission.
• PLC programming (Codesys).
• A code 8 driver’s license.
• A strong technical background with good general knowledge of Automation systems, circuitry and components and quality standards

Salary / Package

R40 000 - R50 000 Basic per month
