Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Franchise Manager to head up 8 stores, 7 located in Johannesburg and 1 located in Mpumalanga.

You will be responsible for:

• Running your schedules for operational support visits to Franchisees stores
• Store evaluation, assisting with local marketing, budget planning
• Training of franchisees and staff in – store
• Monitoring franchisee profitability, i.e. their food cost and grosses profit
• Operations meetings with minutes every week
• Supplier’s product and pricing
• Product procurement
• Opening of new stores (Opening team)
• Visiting Middleburg store and monitoring to assist with franchisees profitability and standards.
• Assist with taking over of old stores by new owners
• Assist with menu costing
• Assist with cook offs and train franchisees with new menu cook offs in store

Qualifications

• Hospitality Management Diploma or relevant qualification

Skills

The successful candidate must have:

• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
• Proven success track record
• Strong knowledge and experience in Franchise Operations
• Own transport and valid Driver's license is essential
• Excellent Customer Service and customer satisfaction
• Good Business Development knowledge
• Excellent Financial Management

Salary / Package

up to R35 000 per month (negotiable dependent on experience)
