Job Description

Our client is looking for a Senior Attorney with at least 5 years experience, specializing in High Court Motion proceedings (but who can also run with action proceedings) to join their dynamic team. This individual will be required to run High Court Motion Proceedings independently for a major bank’s wealth division. The candidate must be a go-getter and prepared to work long hours in a high pressure environment, do whatever is necessary to take over the current matters and manage them going forward.

Qualifications

• LLB and completed articles
• Admitted Attorney

Skills

The successful candidate must have:

• 5 years' experience post admission
• Extensive experience in High Court Motion proceedings, in particular insolvency, business rescue, repossessions and general banking litigation and foreclosures and must be able to run matters independently.
• Be well organized, energetic and have a positive vibe
• Valid Driver's License and Own Transport
