Our client is in search of an accomplished Executive/Head Chef to join their team. Situated amidst the captivating natural beauty of the Olifants River, the newly constructed 5-star Luxurious Lodge offers a splendid retreat. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding culinary experiences to guests and ensuring the seamless functioning of the department.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in culinary management, preferably in a high-end lodge or hospitality setting.
  • Formal culinary education or relevant certifications.
  • Proven track record in menu planning and execution.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and procurement processes.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Training and recruitment experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Understanding of dietary requirements and food preferences.
