Our client is looking for a Front Desk Supervisor/Manager to oversee front desk team members, ensuring efficient and smooth operations to achieve excellent feedback and guest satisfaction at their luxury 5-star Hotel in Johannesburg North.
- Essential leadership experience in a 5-star Boutique Hotel environment is required.
- Ensure exceptional customer care consistently.
- Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Accurately handle guest inquiries and promptly resolve issues.
- Respond promptly to reservations, inquiries, and guest concerns.
- Utilize suggestive selling techniques to boost room nights and revenue.
- Supervise daily shifts, ensuring adherence to procedures and guest service.
- Train and direct front desk workflow, resolving issues, and coaching team members.
- Resolve customer issues efficiently, maintaining high satisfaction.
- Adhere to company credit limit policies.
- Allocate rooms based on guest preferences and special requests.
- Handle phone calls, wake-up calls, and messages promptly and professionally.
- Cross-check billing instructions for accuracy.
- Manage bus group and corporate arrivals, ensuring payment compliance.
- Control cash transactions and maintain personal bank responsibility.
- Ensure safety through adherence to check-in and security procedures.
- Produce front desk and switchboard schedules.
- Participate in forecast reporting.
- Ensure accurate time and attendance records for payroll.
- Maintain front desk supplies and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
