Job Description

Our Client who is based in Johannesburg has an opportunity that the Quality Control Manager. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the following:

• Ensure all quality monitoring as identified by HACCP and other risk monitors are implemented
• Ensure line stoppages by QC team is reported to Technical Manager
• Ensure weekly and monthly inspections are completed and recorded
• Manage quality and Laboratory stuff
• Ensure internal nonconformance, supplier quality arlets and customer complaints are raised for any deviation found
• Internal and Extermal Audits
• Manage outsourced services eg, Laundry, pest control, waste etc
• Any other related duties

Qualifications

• Matric
• Degree/Diploma in Food Science/ Food Technology/ Biotechnology or any other related qualification

Skills

• Minimum 5 years experience in Quality Control in the Food Processing plant
• FSSC 22000 and HACCP training
• Internal Auditor training
• Nonconformance Management
• Change Management

Salary / Package

R400k - R450k (CTC)
