One of our clients is looking for a Pastry Sous Chef for their private safari game lodge in Hoedspruit.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pastry.
- Qualifications or relevant in pastry.
- Experience in 4/5-star establishments.
- Knowledge of à la carte service.
- Extensive experience in pastry culinary arts
- Leadership and team management skills
- Creative and innovative approach to pastry design
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques and dessert presentation
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Familiarity with cost control and inventory management
- Adherence to high standards of food hygiene and safety
- Effective communication and collaboration within a culinary team
- Ability to train and mentor junior pastry staff
- Continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends.
