Job Description

One of our clients is looking for a Pastry Sous Chef for their private safari game lodge in Hoedspruit.


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in pastry.
  • Qualifications or relevant in pastry.
  • Experience in 4/5-star establishments.
  • Knowledge of à la carte service.


  • Extensive experience in pastry culinary arts
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Creative and innovative approach to pastry design
  • In-depth knowledge of baking techniques and dessert presentation
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Familiarity with cost control and inventory management
  • Adherence to high standards of food hygiene and safety
  • Effective communication and collaboration within a culinary team
  • Ability to train and mentor junior pastry staff
  • Continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends.
