Job Description

Our client is seeking a talented Pastry Chef de Partie for their Lodge & Spa with 15 tents and a 30 seater in-house Restaurant located in Hluhluwe.

You will be responsible for:

Preparing and baking pastries and desserts.

  • Managing the pastry station.
  • Ensuring quality and presentation standards.
  • Training and supervising junior pastry cooks.
  • Managing inventory and supplies.
  • Contributing to menu development.
  • Collaborating with kitchen staff.
  • Adhering to regulations and standards.

Qualifications

Relevant qualification in Professional Cookery.

Skills

The successful candidate must have:

  • Culinary expertise with proven track record in manning pastry section.
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Show leadership and able to take direction
  • Pay attention to detail
  • Good adaptability and creativity

Salary / Package

R6 000 per month
