Job Description

Our client is seeking a talented Management Couple / Lodge Manager for their 15 roomed Lodge & Spa to ensure the smooth operation and success of the lodge.

You will be responsible for:

  • Guest Services and Reservations: Handling guest inquiries, managing reservations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and providing personalized experiences.
  • Operations Management: Overseeing housekeeping, maintenance, administrative tasks, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Staff Management: Recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising staff to maintain high service standards.
  • Financial Management: Budgeting, expense tracking, revenue management, and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Marketing and Sales: Developing marketing strategies, managing online and offline channels, and increasing bookings.
  • Guest Activities Planning: Organizing game drives, bush walks, dining events, and cultural visits.
  • Conservation and Wildlife: Implementing sustainable practices, collaborating with conservation organizations, and educating guests.
  • Safety and Security: Implementing safety protocols, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Community Engagement: Building relationships with local communities, supporting initiatives, and sourcing local products.
  • Administration and Reporting: Managing guest accounts, inventory, paperwork, and preparing reports.
  • Property Maintenance: Overseeing facility repairs, landscaping, and ensuring compliance with building codes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitoring feedback, implementing improvements, and exploring innovative ideas.


Hospitality Management Diploma


The successful candidate(s) must have:

Salary / Package

R25 000 - R30 000 for the couple combined per month
